Two Australian QCs are heading to Bali to help with Schapelle Corby's appeal.
Perth-based QCs Tom Percy and Mark Trowell have been approached to assist the Gold Coast woman's legal team to prepare the appeal of her 20-year jail sentence for smuggling 4.1 kilos of marijuana into the resort island. Both barristers are also acting for some of the Bali nine.
The lawyers were offered to the Corby family before the verdict but the offer never reached her family.
The Corby case has brought strong reaction in Australia, with some people demanding the use of the SAS to bust her out of prison.
