MTV star denies hit-run murder
Wednesday, January 25, 2006 (UMST)

FORMER MTV star Wole Parks yesterday pleaded not guilty to a string of charges after he was involved in a car crash on Sunday, which left a 25-year-old New York student dead.

Parks, a star of MTV's ‘Undressed’ show, was charged with striking the late Hannah Engle’s car with his vehicle and then fleeing the scene.

The 23-year-old thesbian has a previous drink-driving conviction and his license has been suspended in the past. An officer on the scene claimed he smelled alcohol on Parks's breath.

The day after the fatal crash, the soap actor's lawyer, Marcia Seckler, told Manhattan Criminal Court her client was "in shock" when he fled the scene. He later turned himself in to police
